Post Event Report: India Smart Grid Week 2015

JSCA participated in the India Smart Grid Week 2015 held in Bengaluru from March 2 to 6.

In the plenary session on global cooperation titled “Smart Grid Projects Update, Lessons Learnt, Business Models and Key Emerging Trends”, Dr. Kuniyoshi, the Secretary General of JSCA, emphasized the important role of global forum activities such as the Global Smart Grid Federation (GSGF), and the Chairman of GSGF also participated in the session via phone.

In the exhibition, JSCA set up a booth and showed cutting-edge Japanese technologies in order to promote the dissemination of smart community technologies in India through collaboration, and about one hundred participants including smart grid experts and Indian government officials visited the booth.

Meanwhile, some JSCA members joined a technical seminar on smart community held in Hyderabad, the state of Andhra Pradesh, India on March 5.

AP state is planning to construct its new state capital city as a smart city, and Chief Minister of the AP state, Mr. Naidu’s dynamic leadership attracts attentions from all over the world.
