ISGAN and GSGF announced the Winners of the ISGAN Award

On May 12, ISGAN (International Smart Grid Action Network) and GSGF (Global Smart Grid Federation) announced the Winners of the ISGAN Award  at a special ceremony during the CEM5 (the 5th Clean Energy Ministerial) meeting.

The ISGAN Award of Excellence international competition recognizes the best project(s) around the world as a fine model in the field of smart grids based on the theme of the year. The theme of the ISGAN Award 2014 was set as “Consumer engagement and empowerment” and more than 40 projects from 15 countries were nominated.

The third party jury of smart grids experts selected the winning project based on five criteria: potential impact, consumer benefit, potential for replication, level of innovation, and alignment with ISGAN's mission to advance key aspects of smart grids.
