Post Event Report: Panel Discussion about the Future of Smart Community
From June 18 to 20 in Tokyo, JSCA and NEDO hosted the Japan Smart Community Summit 2014, in which GSGF and ISGAN members gathered for a panel discussion about the future of smart community. Dr. Hiroshi Kuniyoshi, JSCA and NEDO, moderated this session and helped share their opinions with more than 300 people. They enthusiastically discussed collaboration, competition, policies, regulation, cybersecurity etc. in the field of smart community.
Before the Panel Discussion Session each member reported briefly on his/her own country and region. They also mentioned the GSGF and ISGAN activities such as the GSGF Work Groups, the ISGAN Case Books and the ISGAN Award of Excellence. The three GSGF Work Groups will soon publish the first results called “White Papers” on the GSGF website.
